The field trials cover the complete lifecycle of a mining operation.

The WP6.0 we test and implement a unique combination of remote sensing, positioning and mineral detection technologies in five trial sites across Europe:

Demonstrate the solution in an exploration scenario (Germany, Bulgaria)
Solution in an open pit extraction scenario (Romania)
Demonstrate the solution in an underground extraction scenario (Finland)
Solution in a post-closure scenario (Kosovo)
Demonstration of data acquisition and processing supporting exploration, extraction and post-closure use cases (All field trail sites)

All provided field trial plans and tests contribute for development and optimization of multisource Earth Observation Data platform to improve the complete lifecycle of a mining operation
